Interhouse Basketball Competition

The Interhouse Basketball Competition – 2024 (classes VIII to X), for boys was held on April 30th, followed by the girls’ competition on May 3rd, at St. Peter’s School. The event showcased the athletic prowess and sportsmanship of the students.

The competition was marked by intense match and impressive displays of skill and teamwork. All four houses: Rose, Shamrock, Hollyhock, and Sunflower competed fiercely for the coveted title. After a series of thrilling matches, the following houses emerged victorious, showcasing exceptional talent and teamwork.

Teachers report on Orientation program

On 1st May 2024 the management of St. Peter’s school, Sector 16- A , Faridabad and St. Peter’s Convent School , Sector 88, Greater Faridabad conducted a workshop for its teachers on Artificial Intelligence. The workshop was organized in St. Peter’s Convent School, Sector 88. Resource persons of the workshop were Rev. Fr. Sabu Thomas (Assistant Professor of English) and Rev. Fr. Joseph Manipadam, SDB (Coordinator, CCBI Education Apostolate). The workshop aimed to introduce teachers to various artificial intelligence tools and their applications in the educational field, with a focus on enhancing teaching methodologies and improving student engagement. Teachers were taught about the usage, and hands on training on ChatGPT, Claude, Gamma, Quizzes, Perplexity, AskYourPDF, Quillbot, ZeroGPT and Gemmini.

The workshop provided valuable insights into the applications of artificial intelligence in education and encouraged teachers to integrate AI tools into their teaching practices to make learning more interactive and engaging for students. Participants appreciated the interactive nature of the workshop and found the demonstrations and hands-on sessions highly beneficial. They expressed enthusiasm about implementing the learned techniques in their classrooms to enhance student learning experiences.

Parent Orientation 2024-2025

Parents Orientation programme for the academic session 2024-25 was conducted on 13th April 2024 at 8: 30 am. For classes U.K. G to class VI it was conducted in the school, whereas for classes VII to X it was organized in online mode on MS Teams . The orientation programme began with the aim to cultivate a sense of partnership between parents and teachers. Parents were introduced with the rules and regulations of school, Assessment pattern and co-scholastic activities of the school. Teachers also shared some parenting tips with parents so that both parents and teachers can work together for the holistic development of their child.
