FIT INDIA MOVEMENT

29^TH August 2019, Thursday: “Fit India Movement “ was celebrated in our school as per the
instruction given by the government of India, Ministry of Human resource. ‘Fit
India Movement’  was launched by the Honorable Prime Minister on 29^th August 2019 at Indira
Gandhi Indoor Stadium. Arrangements were made in the school for viewing and hearing
of the live telecast of the event. Students attentively as well
enthusiastically participated in the Fitness pledge taking ceremony. Apart from
it student also actively participated in the Mass PT Programme, Yoga and
Running activities conducted in the school for the occasion. Sports Quiz
competition was also conducted in the school to spread awareness among students
regarding the importance of physical fitness along with the mental development.
